A design system borrowed from the building site
Safety yellow comes from PPE and site signage, so it reads as earned rather than decorative — and it is kept for actions, progress and certificates only. Warnings are orange, never yellow, so an alert is never mistaken for a button. Hanken Grotesk carries the interface; IBM Plex Mono carries the certificate numbers, dates and pass marks.
Everything that needs a human, on one screen
The overview opens on the four numbers that decide the week — people on the platform, in training now, certificates valid, and expiring within thirty days — beside a renewal gauge and a rail of work only a person can clear. Search reaches staff, courses and certificates from anywhere in the product.

Analytics that answer what a director actually asks
Completion rate, first-time pass rate, certificates issued and overdue training, filtered by trade and depot. Assigned against completed shows the gap between what was set and what was finished, and completion by trade shows where the training lands — and where it quietly does not.
A course library every depot assigns from
Ninety-six live courses, each card carrying its trade, length and uptake, and eight waiting on approval — nothing reaches a technician until it has been signed off. Behind each card sits the full course, its modules, and the builder that made it.

Assessments that prove more than recall
Quizzes, exams and practical checks in one library, each with its pass mark, attempts and live pass rate. The builder records which answer is right, why it is right, and which module to send someone back to when they get it wrong.

Certificates with a date on them
Every template carries what earns it, how long it lasts and who holds it — 412 in date, 18 expiring inside thirty days. The editor sets the wording, the validity and the reminders that bring the training round again.

Every technician, and what they hold
248 people across six trades and three depots, filtered down to the ones who need chasing. Each row carries the course they are on, how far through they are, how many certificates are valid, and the date the next one runs out.

Three roles, and a rule nobody can grant around
Super Admin owns the content and the rules, Admin runs a depot and signs off practical checks, Staff hold their own record. Permissions follow the role, and no certificate can be issued without a supervisor watching the work.
